Hypertufa Container Making Workshop

Learn how to make these great containers just in time
to create some for Christmas!

We're excited to have Les Williams,the former owner of
Jasmine Home & Garden in Mt. Dora as our instructor for
this workshop.

Hypertufa is a lightweight cement based material used
in making planters that look like ancient pottery. These
pots fit well in any garden and are well suited for
herbs,succulents and small plants. In this
class, each participant will make a container suitable
for planting such.

Students need only bring rubber gloves. All other materials
will be provided.

A 10% discount will be extended to each participant to use
towards any Herb Farm purchases the day of the class.

Since hypertufa requires a curing period it is advisable for
students to leave their containers at the farm for a day or so
to cure. However, participants traveling a long distance can
carefully take theirs home the same day.

Christmas Open House at the Herb Farm

This is an informal and laid back event compared to our festivals. You may drive right in rather than parking in the field next door, there won't be a crowd or high pressure salesmen. So, come on out to the farm for some great natural gifts. We will be offering a 10% discount on everything! We've planted up some unique baskets and dish gardens in metal, clay and ceramic containers and all are priced affordably. Dried herbs, teas, sachets and such. If you are looking for a great hostess gift or present for your childs' teacher you should check out our stuff. Refreshments will be served too.
